Hospital-Grade -300mmHg Suction 15 Suction Levels 3rd-Gen Motor

As a new mom, coordinating daily tasks with your pumping routine is next to impossible. Step into the wearable breast pump. Designed to be worn discreetly under your bra, a wearable pump lets you walk, work, or just lounge around as you pump, making the routine feel like a part of your everyday life instead of a burden.

What Makes a Wearable Breast Pump Different?

A wearable electric breast pump keeps you hands-free and mobile, making pumping fit naturally into your day.

Wearable vs. Traditional Electric Pumps

A wearable electric breast pump keeps you hands-free and mobile, making pumping fit naturally into your day. Unlike traditional electric pumps that come with cumbersome motors and a complex wiring of tubes, a wearable pump is hands-free and contained in one device. You can slip the compact unit into your bra and go about your day.

Wearable vs. Hospital-Grade Pumps

This design has a significant advantage over hospital-grade pumps. Though they have powerful suction, hospital-grade pumps are big, loud, and non-portable. The Momcozy wearable pump offers a convenient alternative, combining electric power with hands-free convenience.

Wearable vs. Manual Pumps

Similarly, the manual pump is small and inconspicuous but requires the constant application of physical effort. The Momcozy electric wearable pump eliminates this effort, getting your precious time back so you can walk or work while you pump.

Finding Your Perfect Fit

Momcozy also comes with several wearable electric breast pump models, each designed to meet a unique need in your breastfeeding process.

The Newest Model Air 1: Light & Discreet

Momcozy Air 1, which was launched in 2025, was crafted to be the most premium and slim wearable pump ever. If discretion and very light wear on your breast are high priorities, this new model is your best choice.

The M Series: Premium Performance

Our M Series, including the M5, M6, and M9, is our high-end collection of wearable pumps. Our best-selling M5 is an all-around Amazon favorite because of its high-performance capabilities and innovative DoubleFit flange design. M6 and M9 models take comfort further with their naturally shaped teardrop design and unique soft-and-hard silicone DoubleFit flange for a secure and leak-free fit. The M9 is our first breast pump to feature a companion app.

The S Series: The Perfect Start

For new-to-wearable pumpers, our S Series is a perfect starting point. Our entry pumps are the S9 Pro and the S12 Pro, offering reliable suction and budget-friendly features that make them ideal for moms who pump occasionally outside the home or are trying a breast pump for the first time.

The V Series: Lightweight with Tubing

The V Series, the V1 Pro and V2 Pro, features a tubing system that connects the motor onto the milk collector. The V Series uses tubing to connect a separate motor to the cup, so the motor can clip to a lanyard or pocket, and the breast side feels lighter. V1 Pro also features hospital-grade suction, so it is an ideal choice for those who are used to a regular pump and wish to upgrade to a more discreet, portable system.

By selecting a Momcozy pump, you're not only acquiring a product; you're also finding a supportive partner in your breastfeeding experience. We back our products with committed customer support, providing you with a hassle-free experience from the time you place your order.

FAQs

How long can you wear a wearable pump?

You can typically wear a wearable breast pump for about 2 to 4 hours at a time, depending on the model and your comfort level. It's essential to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and listen to your body. Taking breaks can help prevent discomfort and ensure effective milk expression.

Is wearable breast pump effective?

Yes, wearable breast pumps can be effective for many users, allowing for hands-free pumping during daily activities. However, their effectiveness may vary based on individual anatomy and the specific model used. Ensuring a proper fit and seal for optimal milk flow is important.

Which wearable breast pump is best?

The All-in-One M5 Wearable Breast Pump from Momcozy is often considered one of the best options. It offers a comfortable and efficient pumping experience, allowing users to pump hands-free and discreetly. With features like adjustable suction levels, a lightweight design, and a quiet motor, it provides convenience and effectiveness for busy parents looking to maintain their milk supply.

Do wearable pumps decrease milk supply?

Wearable pumps should not inherently decrease milk supply if used correctly and consistently. However, if the pump does not effectively empty the breast, it may lead to a decrease in supply over time. It's important to ensure proper fit and suction to maintain milk production.

Can I exclusively use a wearable breast pump?

Yes, you can exclusively use a wearable breast pump, but it’s essential to ensure it meets your milk production needs. Some users may find that traditional pumps are more effective for emptying the breast, so it’s important to monitor your supply and adjust as necessary. Consulting with a lactation consultant can provide personalized guidance.

How to Troubleshoot Momcozy Wearable Breast Pumps?

For common issues, you can follow these troubleshooting steps, which are based on the Momcozy M9 model. Other models can also refer to these guidelines. If the problem persists, please contact our online customer service for assistance.

Pumping & Milk Flow Issues

  • Problem: The pump is working, but there is no milk flow.

Solution: Turn off the pump and check your nipple position again inside the flange tunnel. Your nipple should be in the middle. Be sure the pump is firmly pressed against your breast. You can pump longer because milk let-down can be otherwise.

  • Problem: You feel pain or discomfort while pumping.

Solution: Keep the pump close to your breast by securing your bra. You can even lower the suction strength, as well. Ensure that your nipple is also in the correct position. The pump will automatically shut down after 30 minutes; ensure that you haven't been pumping for too long.

  • Problem: The pump is running, but the suction is not strong.

Solution: First, check the suction level. The M9 pump has 15 levels, and you can adjust it to turn up the power. Second, make sure that all parts that are washable are properly in place and not cracked. Manually check all of the parts because they are to be replaced after three months of use. Lastly, make sure that the pump is powered on and held against your breast firmly.

Power & Charging Issues

  • Problem: The pump is not charging.

Solution: Make sure the USB Type-C cable is plugged all the way into the charger and charging port of the pump.

  • Problem: The pump won't shut off.

Solution: Press the On/Off/Pause button. If there is no response from the pump, manually break the vacuum seal by inserting a finger between your breast tissue and the flange before pressing the power button again.

  • Problem: The pump stops pumping suddenly.

Solution: Notice that the pump has an automatic shut-off feature that activates after 30 minutes of continuous use. Simply click the power button to continue pumping.

Device Care & Maintenance

  • Problem: The pump or charger gets wet.

Solution: Immediately dry the pump. Prop it upright with the charger port facing down and let it air dry completely for at least 24 hours. Do not use the pump or its charger if they have been immersed in water. In such cases, contact customer care.

How Do You Know What Size Breast Pump Flange to Get?

Selecting the optimal flange size is among the most significant aspects of comfortable and successful pumping. The correct size will place your nipple in the center and allow it to move freely, which will serve to maximize milk expression and avoid hurting you.

Use these two approaches to determine your best fit.

Method 1: Use a nipple ruler or regular ruler

  • Step 1: Get your nipple erect by stimulating it. Do this just before or after pumping, as your nipple may be larger then.
  • Step 2: Position the ruler perpendicular over your breast, align the 0 mark at the base of the nipple, and have the edge of the ruler on your areola.
  • Step 3: Measure the nipple diameter at its widest point. Add 1–3 mm to this measurement to determine the ideal flange size for you.

Method 2: Nipple ruler with sizing holes

  • Step 1: Stimulate your nipple gently so that it stands up. Do this right before or right after a pumping session, as your nipple may be larger then.
  • Step 2: Try to fit your nipple into the sizing holes separately to find the hole that fits tightly. You ought to be able to fit your nipple completely through the hole, and the edge of your ruler should touch your areola at the same time.
  • Step 3: Write down the size of the hole that best fits—that is your nipple size. Add 1–3 mm to this measurement to determine the ideal flange size for you.

Signs You Have the Wrong Size

Watch for these signs since an incorrect size will cause discomfort and reduce the milk flow.

Flange is too small (Nipple is rubbing)

  • Your nipple rubs against the tunnel edges while pumping.
  • You have friction or pain.
  • Your nipple turns pale or white after pumping.
  • You may feel a reduced milk output.

Flange is too large (Areola is being pulled in)

  • Your areola is sucked into the tunnel of the flange too far.
  • There is a pulling sensation on your areola.
  • You experience pain or bruising.
  • Low milk yield.

If you follow these simple tips, you can have a pain-free, comfortable, and effective pumping session. If you are still unsure or experience persistent discomfort, it is best to consult with a lactation consultant.

How to Use Momcozy Wearable Electric Breast Pump?

Using your Momcozy wearable electric breast pump is designed for ease and efficiency. Here’s a detailed guide based on the Momcozy M9 model.

1. Preparing and Wearing the Pump

When positioning the pump, ensure your nipple is centered in the flange tunnel and moves freely without rubbing. Additionally, use a supportive, well-fitting bra, adjusting the straps as needed, to hold the pump firmly and snugly against your breast.

2. Operating the Pump Controls

You can control the pump directly or via the Momcozy App.

  • Powering On/Off & Pausing: Press and hold the circular On/Off/Pause button for a couple of seconds to power the pump on or off. A brief press of this button will pause the pumping session.
  • Mode Selection: Press the button with the droplet icon to cycle through the different pumping modes (usually Stimulation, Expression, and Mixed). Experiment with these modes to find what works best for your let-down and milk flow.
  • Suction Level Adjustment: Use the +/- buttons (sometimes indicated with wave-like icons) to adjust the suction intensity. The M9 offers 15 suction levels. Start with a low level and gradually increase until you find a comfortable yet effective setting.

3. Disassembling the Pump and Storing Breast Milk

After your pumping session, carefully remove the pump from your breast. To disassemble, gently detach the flange from the pump motor unit. Once disassembled, pour the expressed breast milk from the collection cup into a clean breast milk storage bottle or bag.

4. Important Considerations for Pumping

Throughout the very first Stimulation phase, hold the pump firmly against your breast to encourage let-down. The pump will also shut off after 30 minutes automatically. In case you are always feeling uncomfortable or getting little milk, revert back to your flange size and check for alignment.

How to Clean Momcozy Wearable Breast Pump?

Properly cleaning and sanitizing your Momcozy wearable breast pump is essential for maintaining hygiene and ensuring it functions correctly. It is recommended to clean your pump before the first use and after each use.

Here is a step-by-step guide based on the instructions for the Momcozy M9 model.

Step 1: Disassemble the Pump

Before cleaning, you must take the pump apart. Separate all the washable components from the main pump motor. The parts to be cleaned include the Flange, Silicone Diaphragm, Duckbill Valve, and Milk Collector.

Step 2: Wash & Sanitize

Wash:

  • Wash all disassembled parts in warm, soapy water.
  • Soak the parts for 3–5 minutes.
  • Use a gentle brush to clean any residue.
  • The water temperature should be between 104°F and 140°F (40°C–60°C).

Sanitize:

  • You can sanitize the parts with boiling water or steam.
  • Place the parts in a sanitizing pot and use boiling water or steam for 5–10 minutes.
  • The water temperature for sanitizing can be up to 212°F (100°C).
  • Important Warning: Do not wash or sanitize the pump motor unit.

Step 3: Dry the Parts

After washing and sanitizing, it is crucial to dry the parts completely to prevent mold or bacterial growth. Wipe off any excess water with a clean cloth. Alternatively, you can place the parts on a clean surface and allow them to air dry.

How to Assemble the Pump

Once all parts are clean and dry, you can reassemble the pump. Follow these steps in order:

  1. Assemble the diaphragm to the flange, ensuring a tight seal.
  2. Assemble the milk collector by rotating it in the direction of the lock icon until it secures at the mouth of the collector.
  3. Attach the flange to the milk outlet.
  4. Align the pump motor with the flange and press them together firmly until they lock into place.
  5. Attach the dust cover to the assembled breast pump tightly.
Can I Lay Down While Breast Pumping?

We do not recommend lying down. To have wearable pumps work effectively and prevent leaks, you need to be in an upright or slightly reclined position. Lying down can cause the flange to lose its seal against your breast and allow milk to leak out.

Can I Wear a Regular Bra While Pumping?

Yes, you can. You should be able to get a very good grip on the pump using a standard bra so that it adheres well to your breast for a proper vacuum seal. A specialty pumping bra is ideal for most moms if consistent outcomes and comfort are desired.

Is It Better to Double Pump or Single Pump?

Double pumping will most likely be more efficient and will save you a lot of time. Pumping both breasts at the same time will also stimulate your milk supply and may even lead to more fat content in your milk compared to single pumping.

Can I Store Milk in the Collection Cups Between Pump Sessions?

Generally, no. Standard collection cups are not designed for milk storage. You should transfer breast milk immediately after each pumping session into a sterile, airtight storage container or bag. This practice is crucial to prevent bacterial growth and ensure the milk remains safe for your baby.

However, some breast pumps offer specific accessories designed for storage. For the Momcozy M9, for example, the package includes an extra milk collector and a lid. After a pumping session, you can use this dedicated milk collector and its lid to seal the milk and store it directly in the refrigerator. Other breast pump models' milk collectors do not have a lid, which makes them unsuitable for breast milk storage.

Do Momcozy Wearable Breast Pumps Automatically Shut Off When the Cups Are Full?

No. The function of the pump is to generate suction for a specific duration of time, not to measure the volume of milk. It's required to monitor the level of milk in the cups so you don't leak or overfill them. The pump does, however, have an automatic shut-off feature that activates after 30 minutes of continuous use.

Can I Store Milk From Different Pumping Sessions Together?

Yes, you can. The best thing to do is first refrigerate the fresh, new milk. When it's at the same temperature as your stored milk, then you can blend them. This way, the hot milk will not warm up the cold milk and compromise freshness/quality.

How Do I Store Pump Parts Between Pumping Sessions?

To keep the parts clean, wash and thoroughly dry all of the parts after each use. Store the clean, dry parts in a closed bag or container in a dry, clean place so dust or germs don't collect on them until you have to use them again.

Can I Use My HSA/FSA to Get Momcozy Breast Pumps?

Yes. Most Momcozy breast pumps are medical devices and are HSA/FSA eligible, so you can purchase them using pre-tax dollars. For specific details on which products qualify, please refer to our HSA/FSA eligibility guide.

Can You Ship Momcozy Internationally?

Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping rates and delivery times vary based on your location. For more detailed information, please check our Shipping & Delivery page.
